Watch the video "A Whale's Tale" and then write a recount of what happening in the story. Make sure to include the beginning, middle, and end. Who were the characters? What problem did they have? How did they solve it? Think about the story, what can you do to help the environment? |

Activity Two
Using the template above as a guide (you do not need to print it, you can just write it out on a piece of paper), go on a nature walk around your neighbourhood.
Using your senses, record what you saw, smelt, heard, touched and tasted. Remember to use full sentences when you are writing!

Imagine you are a king or a queen for a day.
Write about: -What would you do? -Are you a good or a bad queen or king? Why? -What would you do for your kingdom? |
Activity One
What did you do in your holiday? Either write about something you did during the holidays or use your imagination and write about the holiday you wish you could have had!
Make sure your writing has the following: - Who was with you? - Where did you go? - What did you do? - Why did you go there or do that? - How did you feel? - What other details could you add to make your writing interesting? |
Activity Two
Practise your spelling. How many of these words can you spell correctly without looking? Practise the words you need to and then check again.
Choose 5 of the words and write them in a sentence. Did you spell them correctly in your sentences?

Activity Three
Imagine you are invisible for a day. Write about what you would do. Where would you go? What would you do? Would you play pranks on people? Did you like being invisible? How did you feel being invisible? Would you do it again?

Look at the picture of the lost teddy. Write a story about the journey teddy has to go on to find her human again. Don't forget to draw a picture of teddy's journey to help you plan your story.

Draw a picture of the people in your bubble at home, and write a description about them.
What are their names? What do they like doing? What have they been doing with you? What are their favourite things? What are they good at? Try and use some adjectives to describe them too. |
Look at the picture of the island. Write a story about the adventure you would have on an island.
How did you get there? Who is with you? What food will you eat? What are you going to do for fun? |

Write a Letter
Write a letter to someone you miss. Tell them all the different things you miss about them, what activities you would like to do with them, or what have you been doing at home. Next time you see them or talk to them you can pass on the letter. |

Write as many words as you can in one minute. Check your spelling. How many could you write? Try again another time to beat your score if you want. |
